I've already done almost everything the internet could give me: I've updated all the expansions I've done the thing where you reset the game (Renaming the Sims 3 fie to Sims 3 Current so the game creates a new file) I've updated all my mods I've run the game without mods I've changed the Options.ini file, I changed fullscreen = 1 to fullscreeen = 0 and I've changed the resolution through the Options.ini file, neither worked I've reinstalled my framework for the mods I've cleared the DCBackup folder (except for the ccmerged file) and the cache files I've updated my PC and all my drivers but nothing is working I've also run the game in compatibility mode (Windows 7) I've turned off the DEP thing I ran CCleaner. I have all the expansions up to Pets, and they're all discs (so I haven't downloaded anything from origin). Sometimes it minimises itself first (after the black screen) and then when I click on it again it'll crash. When I tried to start it again a black screen came up and it stayed there for a bit and then the game crashed and a message came up saying that The Sims 3 has stopped working. Okay so a few days ago the Sims was working perfectly, then suddenly I couldn't open the menu or select anything so I had to force close it. Information, Guides and Announcements for the EA app.
